My first 2 fish were chromis then I got 2 clowns and a wrasse all was going perfect until I added a baby clown trigger. The clows seem very territorial. I fed them all and they stopped picking on him I hope he is okay. What are good fish to add to a new aquarium I know I shouldnt have added the Clown trigger but I did because hes a baby and figured he wouldnt be too tough on the others and it backfired and they were tough on him. Advice for next tank adds?
I am going fish only for now I have live rock and live sand. I eventually want tangs, puffers, and another trigger larger but I think its too soon for those adds. Maybe a filefish or a dwarf angel?

If it were me, the next order of business would be to catch/trap the clown trigger and rehome it now, before it's too late.

Its 70 gallons and he is only one inch long. They are getting along now. I want agressive fish in the tank or semi agressive tang, triggers, clows, puffers ect...

the clowns were just being territorial and now I am afraid I am going to have to get larger fish they dont beat up on them

Well you're in a tough spot bc a 70g tank won't house a majority of the fish you're looking for. An adult clown trigger needs a 300g tank. I know he's little but it goes with the territory. You may be able to have a tomini tang or a kole tang but not many others. No puffers other than a Toby puffer. Everything gets too big. Maybe look into a dwarf lionfish? Or an eel of some sort. Its gonna be tough for you to have an aggressive tank with a couple chromis and clownfish. They'll become a quick meal for a lot of the fish you seek out.

unfortunately, I have to agree with others in re-homing the clown trigger :( I know they are so beautiful and tempting to keep but everything I've read repeatedly states how aggressive they can become and I believe they grow pretty quickly. It might be helpful to make a list of possible fish and then figure out the best order to add them in.

i cant catch him i am going to keep him for a while I have a number of friends with larger tanks that I am sure would love to have him when he starts getting bigger and causing trouble.
