Besides Trigger, Puffer and Lion fish, what other not reef safe fish will eat/kill the CUC? Do any of the Angles or Tangs go after them? What about wrasses?

Wrasses, hawkfish, and some damsels will go after your CUC.

Angels and tangs are mostly well behaved. Fairy and flasher wrasses are CUC safe, but they are also reef safe.

Thanks guys. I'm building a 270g "FOWLR" tank and was thinking it could be nice to have some cool shrimps or crabs in there as well. I really like some of the triggers, but I've not decided if I want to get one or not yet. That would just leave tangs, angels, wrasses, and some other reef safe fish on my list.

Nice

Cool! I would definitely keep some of the bigger angels, they're some of the coolest non-reef safe fish imo. You could also look at ones like the harlequin tuskfish (though it can eat CUC) and the orange-spot filefish. They're all cool fish that aren't reef safe. You could also look at pufferfish.

Thanks. I will have to decide if I'd rather keep a trigger or two (and maybe a puffer at some point) or some of the cooler looking inverts.

My triggers dont really eat my cuc as the cuc has become nocturnal because of the triggers.

Thanks, and nice looking tank. Do you do anything special to ware down the teeth of your triggers (are the blue throats?)?
I dont have any blue throats, I have a Clown, Assasi, Blueline, Pinktail and a Niger trigger. They like to bite the rocks so I'm sure they ware them down doing that, never really think about it though.

Thanks for the info. Triggers are one of my faves, but I was a little worried about having to give their teeth special care so they were a little further down on my stocking list. I may move one back towards the top of the list.

Melanarus Wrasses.

Some like my wifes will be fine, others like the one I had will go on a murder binge. The one I had killed the entire CUC for a 125 reef all on his own, eventually throwing off the balance of the tank in the process, nightmare fish. He would also steal food from anemones, and when I went pred reef even tried to bully the dogface and 5" Humu Trigger I had. My wifes on the other hand has been a model citizen but it is also female which may have something to do with it. All in all though I would caution against them as they can be hit or miss on CUC safe.
