Hi all. I've SLOWLY been building this tank and I had all of these ideas about what I wanted. One thing that I was considering is an active schooling fish for the water column. Once upon forever ago I had chromis and really enjoyed them. I had considered getting several quarantined from Dr. Reef but the uronema warning has me worried. What would y'all recommend for an active schooling fish in the water column?

Although it is a General issue with them, give them a 90 minute bath in ruby rally pro with aeration added
This will cleanse them persay and you can add 1/2 dose to display tank for 10 days as an assurance as ruby is reef safe

Sissortail dartfish?

Always thought these numerous red firefish looked cool. Perhaps there are enough of them they don’t fight. Not sure.

My theory on schooling fish, saftey in number, but when theres nothing to fear why bother. I have 9 B/G chromis in a 220, put a single blue Damsel in now they school. Now dont want to sound cruel but that's nature. By the way still got 9 chromis and damsel after 18mth

Some reviews have blasted it as not reef safe. Not a concern yet as I still haven't even stayed the cycle, but have you ever had any issues with it?

With ruby rally?

With ruby rally?
Yeah. I googled reviews and there were some really negative reviews. I went to BRS to look at the reviews there and it appears that the Google reviews came from BRS. I trust your expertise and wonder if you've ever had any issues yourself. I'd LOVE to get the chromis if there's a way to keep that disease away.

I swear by rally pro
Never let me down and actually saved a couple grand of fish 2 years ago for me
Do understand as many years I’ve been in this hobby that when fish are lost during treatment, blame is poised on the medication not factoring how far along the disease was and water quality, etc

rally is pretty good. It can mess up tanks if dosed wrong or with very sensitive species
