I wonder if this works..trying go link a video of the weirdest thing ever. Its not mine but it looks like and acts like a jellyfish, but it sits attached to rock.

I don't have facebook, but sounds like you're explaining Medusa Hydroids. Google that and see if that's what you have.

When you say medusa i think of the ones that are 1/4 inch small, transparent and moves on the glass. This one (he actually has several), is an inch or so. Brown coloured like an aiptasia.
