White spot on his fin

Hes been like this for a couple weeks now, doesn't seem bothered by it could it be ick or is there a chance my pistol shrimp confused him for my halloween hermit he hates and snapped at him?

i dont have the means to QT him....

The white spot there definitely isn't ich, but I'm not sure what it is - maybe of the #fishmedic could tell you.

Looks like it could be the result of injury or lymphocytosis, or just an abscess.
My severum cichlid has similar and has never been bothered by it, so I just let it be.
If the fish isn’t affected, then I wouldn’t be worried.

My feeling is lymphocystis or a related virus - OR - a scarring after mouth linking during breeding behavior
