I was thinking of choosing smaller fish so I could add more than if I were to add larger, the size is 100 gallon.

I'd caution you against mixing royal gramma and purple dottyback and highly recommend omitting the sea slug and fromia starfish. You may want to narrow down to 2 pod eaters.

Add first in any order:
Cardinal (3)
Yasha Shrimp Goby
Green Dragonet/mandarin Goby (add this first and if you still have plenty of pods after 2-6 months, add another pod eater)
Rainfordi Goby (pair)
Exquisite & Red Firefish
Tailspot Blenny
Chalk Bass

Add next in any order:
Royal Gramma OR Purple dottyback
Ruby Red Dragonet OR DragonFace Pipefish
Coral Beauty Angelfish

Thanks, absolutely no way to get the pipefish, or maybe just really hard, I've had a tank before, pretty small (nano) this is a 90 gal, I'm not an expert (obviously) but I was wondering if there was any chance to get it?

It depends on your system. My mandarin wiped out my pods in a 50G system, so you may be able to have all 3 pod eaters, particularly if you set up a feeding station, or you may have to chose 2/3.

I’m also very sorry to revive this thread aswell, it’s just how I wanted to add a bit to this from my experience.
I find that while yes they both hunt the same food that actually ruby reds tend to stay on the lower rocks and the sandbed whereas the green/blue (I don’t see the difference between these two mandarins, even with colour they’re the same IMO), red mandarins all tend to stay on the rocks to hunt for food so in reality they won’t be 100% competing for food - although Yes you will have them both going after 50% of the pods each.

That’s news to me, I find that mandarins stay on the rocks 99% of the time, I have almost never seen a Ruby on the rocks unless it was the part that touches the sand.

My ruby red dragonets were all over the place as well - including hanging out on the gyres, back of the rocks - you name it (I had 2 ruby reds in one tank and 2 mandarins in the other). The blue/green mandarins were everywhere - hunting all over the substrate and every single rock in pursuit of their next meal. Now it could be they were simply following their next meal, so I can't begrudge them that. When I moved them to a larger 160-gallon tank the two mandarins did spend a lot of time on the rocks - but they also spent a fair amount of time cruising around the substrate and lower edges of the rocks.
