I'm starting to restock my 180, and I currently only have 4 fish.

I have

· a pair of Christmas wrasses (Halichoeres melanurus)
· a matted filefish
· a green mandarin goby

I plan to add the following:
· Golden Rhomboidalis Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus rhomboidalis)
· Orange Back Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus aurantidorsalis)
· blue star leopard wrasse (Macropharyngodon bipartitus)
· Carpenter’s Flasher Wrasse (Paracheilinus carpenteri)
· McCosker’s Flasher wrasse (Paracheilinus mccoskeri)
· Eightline Flasher Wrasse (Paracheilinus octotaenia)
· Yellow-Flanked Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus lyukyuensis)
· Bluehead Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus cyanopleura)

In what order should I add these?? I'm ok with adding several at a time if that's a good idea. I'm planning on ordering from Live Aquaria in a large enough quantity to get free shipping.

Also, feel free to make suggestions about additions (or subtractions) from my list.

I'm hoping to place my order with Live Aquaria by the 26th.

Thanks!

I start ith the leopard, then flashers, then fairys using an acclimation box with all of them. My melrunus bullied my first leopard a bit but only when feeding time was here... led to her death. something to think of.

Thanks! I'm thinking I'll probably try to add at least 3 on the first go round in hopes that the malanurus wrasses don't pick on any of them too much (divide and conquer, right?), so it would probably be the leopard and at least 2 of the flashers first. Would there be any problem doing it that way?

Ive always added my wrasse one at a time using an acclimation box for 3-7 days. not saying it wouldn't work but I always like going slow. are you going to be implementing a qt?

Yes. I plan on keeping the new additions in qt for a few weeks. Then I'll add them to the display. Should I move them one at a time to the display from qt? What if I used multiple acclimation boxes?

eight line last and I would say the melanurus,( Maybe pull him out and qt him while you add the others) be cautious your melanurus will be dominant.....I would add two or three at a time to keep the melanurus's ..A.D.D. focused on a few different fish so he does not pick on only one.. better survival rate...(also I like all your choices....except the file fish they can get quite distructive on your lps......use caution on corals and no clams...yum yum yum...

Thanks. The filefish has been in the tank for about 9 months. I bought him as a solution for aiptasia...for which he proved to be useless...but no aggression to anything else either. I'm planning to rehome him anyway bc of my large stock list.

copperbands do a great job for me on aptasia...but if you add lps they to can nip, but if you have lps in there first they seem to leave it alone only...they don't touch my zoas

I was also going to suggest adding the Eight Line Flasher last as well. And adding two to the DT in an acclimation box would be just fine.

Ran into a problem...leopard wrasse isn't available right now...should I wait to place my order, or could I order a couple of flasher wrasses (carpenter's and McCosker's) before him?
