What other corals will clowns host to?

Don't want an anemone in tank with other corals. Heard and read they kill other corals. What else can I get that my clowne will host with? Thank you.

My matted pair of clowns at one time hosted a toadstool leather in a smaller system. Once moved to my current system a few years ago, they haven't decided to host it again. Location I guess.

Well... it's a good thing you stated a coral... they have hosted my powerhead, filter, fuge... lol that being said, if you have the lighting, tank size, and if it's in your budget... i always thought it would be awesome to get a maxima clam. Mine go in any torches...

My tank is euphyllia dominant and they never get near anyof them. The are currently hosting a paly garden i have. They were hosting my mushroom garden before that.

Mine used to host my torch and now moved onto a rock of button polyps. The polyps have pretty strong stalks and don't seem to mind. He'll literally wedge himself between the stalks! Lights aren't on yet but here he is poking out.

One of my clowns has been hosted by a number of corals: Xenia, frogspawn, leather.

The other has never been hosted by anything but the back right corner of the tank, and whatever equipment is back there. I always feel kind of sad for that clown, but I don’t think it has a clue that it’s supposed to have a living home. And I think the corals probably prefer they stay out, anyhow.

I have had clowns change hosts a lot. Lets name a few: hammer, trumpet, kenya tree, bta, toadstool, clam, bta, lta, overflow pipes, corner of tank, torch, Imay have missed some. They are funny creatures.
