What paint/sealant to use to prevent rust?

I made a diy light hanger from conduit and I want to make sure it lasts as long as possible as it will be nearly impossible to get back to them once the tank is filled.

What product would you recommend to seal this with to prevent rust?

Any type of oil-based paint that has a rust inhibitor (such as some paints from Rust-Oleum or Krylon) should work. IME, the biggest challenge is any joint, links, spots that can move, and/or places where it is hard to get paint on. Sometimes I have actually had to resort to dipping for small pieces to get full covered. Good luck!

Mine is luckily all just one big piece so I should be able to just heavily coat it with paint

Edit. It has no UV protection though. so top-coat it if in the sun

Second that for por-15,this was reccomended to me by a manager of the painters doing work on the neighbors house. I gave his guys some water and they stopped by and looked at the tank.
