12 days ago I bought a longhorn cowfish from my lfs. He is currently in a 10 gallon quarantine tank. Without any medication about 4-5 days ago I noticed a white spot or two. I was thinking it was lympho or ich but it looks like it’s starting to disappear it never got bad only a few spots. The fish is doing great showing no signs of anything bad. Does any one know what I could be. The pic below is it 4-5 days ago

Also there used to be a couple spots on his body but not any more just on the fins I think. The pics down below is him now

No idea. I bought one of those one time. As soon as he hit the water my female clown fed him to my carpet anemone

Probably ich, it is common for healthy fish to recover without treatment, but ich is likely in your tank. So you’ll need to either practice ich management or go fallow for at least 76 days.

Ok good to know thanks but he’s in a quarantine so it’s not in my display tank

It may be nothing.

Spots from ich do come and go as the parasite goes through its life cycle.

Should I wait to put it in my display tank ?
Not if you think there is a chance of disease.

I would wait, but everyone has their own disease prevention/treatment protocol. Every new fish for my display gets dewormed and either Tank Transfer Method or copper for ich and velvet.
