I have puffers, lion fish, tangs, angels, and butterfly fish.

I was considering green star polyps, but what can I add to the tank to add movement and color? I was thinking macro algae but I have herbivore.

Mangroves? If you stock enough macro, and it grows fast enough, there is a possibility you can outcompete your herbivore. Personally I LOVEEEEE mangroves, so you could do some of those but they’d have to stick out of the water surface.

Macros you could do halimeda or shaving brush. The only thing that touches those are lettuce nudibranch.

+1 on red mangrove trees! And certain corals would probably be fine too. Just don't put anything in that you'd be heartbroken if you lost. Alot of puffer will just bite random things to wear down their teeth
