I just got my hygger wavemaker back in operation again, but I’m not sure what’s the best wave setting for mixed reef so I just set it onto random. However, my mushrooms doesn’t seem very happy and neither does my kenya tree. What settings do you guys use?

Wavemaker conveniently not pictured… great job, Aaron.

This is something that often get asked and the answer is dependent on what you keep. You don’t want to place your power head directly in front a coral and blast it . Indirect flow that makes the coral sway in the current is what your after.

Other than the kenya tree and the hammers, none of my corals actually can sway... I'll put the powerhead higher up and see what happens.

right I figured out a setting that works, unfortunately I accidentally fragged my monti frag but it should be fine. Not sure why my mushroom, which is right next to the kenya tree, is almost flipping over whilst the kenya tree is barely moving though... must be a drag profile thing.

Right, this should be fine… unfortunately I need to buy another monti frag since I keep accidentally snapping it.
