Hi, what powerheads should I have for my 55 gallon? I currently have 2 hydor 1500s but you cannot adjust the flow and it seems like it might be too much. Is it?

Thanks!

Attached is a pic of the tank.

That’s not a lot of flow at all. I would just keep these powerheads for now and just play with their location if need be.

Once you have more corals you can decide if you want something else.

I bought a Nero3 and Nero5, controllable, and I’m not even using them for now. I did for a while but I found it was too much flow. I’m using a single cheap Koralia at the moment and it’s fine. I have a filter that’s adding flow.

Ok thanks. I was talking to some other guys about the hammers flow and it seemed pretty high from what they said but I guess not thanks. And is it bad if there is the "higher" flow for cleaner shrimp and other fish? Thanks
