what prays on ich/velvet?

Copper (lol)

UV. :P

Depends on the life stage of the organism - filter feeding invertebrates will strain out some of the free swimming theronts. Tomonts in the substrate are often eaten by shrimp. Nothing really handles the trophonts of velvet, as they are in the gills and very small. I suppose some cleaner animals (shrimp and wrasse) will feed on ich trophonts, but I've not seen that as any sort of a cure.

The trouble is that none of these biological controls are 100%, so the parasites just keep plugging along. In the wild, the vast volume of water dilutes the parasite load.

UV often brought up but addresses what is free floating and not pre-existing. Its not an eraser. Copper works but takes a couple of days to work and often takes care of issue. Cleaner wrasses said to eat ick actually go after small worms such as flukes and turebellian

So far I've only done TTM for this outbreak
I have added only Polyplabs Medic, Prime and Bacter Gen_M to the QT.
Today I will move to new tank and repeat.
Unfortunately being so close to Christmas I can't do fallow for 70 odd days due to a pre planned, pre paid holiday.
If I have to do it next year I will. But the fish should all be ich free before going back to DT.
And they were ICH from for most of the last 2 years until recent tank upsets with aggression.
