I currently have the bluetooth Current USA system, with eflux wave pumps/ return pump. I'm thinking about switching to the Neptune Apex to use Trident. Is there any way I can still use these wavemakers/ return pump with this system?

Why would using apex mean you can’t use those powerheads? Surely it wouldn’t magically destroy them :p

Plug them into the outlet, and done. You can program the apex to turn off that outlet during feed mode if you want.

I do know what you mean, regarding apex compatible. To have full control, over settings and everything. That would be limited to pumps that have 0-10v input, apex WAVs, some gyres WITH an adapter, Vortechs (with WXM module), etc.

No reason to throw away your perfectly functional powerheads though

Be sure you understand the cost of running the Trident. The reagent costs.
There are a couple others out there worth looking into as well.
Not hating on Neptune. I run 3 Apex controllers. I just want to make sure you know your options before you lay out some serious coin.

$200 a year?
Not bad, in my opinion :)

I have an Apex Classic in a Reefer 360 with the return pump (Vectra M1) and the powerheads (Nero 5) plugged into the outlets of the EB8. You can not control (programing, etc) the pump/powerheads directly from apex but you can turn then on/off.
