I guess it's dimensions would have to be on the nanoscale...1000000 nanometers make up a millimeter. So a nm^3 tank with a piece of a grain of sand would be a nanotank.

This is what I have always felt as well.

Because the largest nano-cube I have personally seen is 29gallons.
