Can I get a suggestion on a return Pump replacement for a Waterbox 15.2? What are you using?

The stock one I have is garbage and even after a daily cleaning is louder than deaf hyena.

I'd get a Sicce AC pump. Probably a .5, but it depends on the chamber size. Be careful and don't get too big a pump and too much flow. If you run an overpowered return in a nano it'll consistently drain that back chamber and give you problems (trust me).

Thank you! I have learned that from experience. I am less looking for power and more hardiness and not being super loud. I have a NERO on here so I can get however much flow I need. Just need something to help agitate the surface and circulate water.

Sicce is a very nice pump. They have a really good track record. I've used their smaller pumps for years for all sorts of things. I cannot comment on the larger DC ones, but the lil' AC pumps are rock solid and quiet.

A lot of people recommend sicce so I will probably give them a try. Seeing this is a 15.2 waterbox I think I would be sticking with a smaller one right?

Here's the chart for the SICCE ac pumps - I would use the .5, you might be able to use the 1.0 but it'll be an overkill in my opinion and give you trouble in your AIO compartment once the sponges/floss/whatever starts to get dirty/clogged.

Sicce nano or silent 0.5. I use the 0.5 in mine.

I used the sicci .5, nice pump, and it was to strong on my 20g nano cube.
I now use a tunze 1073.008.
It has less flow and is quiet. Its just the right size for my system

I think I will be getting the sicce syncra .5 than! Just to double check you can manually take the pump apart to clean the propellers right? The stock one with the waterbox you cant do that which is just a horrible design flaw.
