What~s better than Cheato

What is better I have tried cheato many times it dies or just not do igthe job my 10g allon has no room for it to tumble so it just get loaded up with junk what plant or macro would replace this?

I have really good luck with feather caulerpa. Grows like a weed

In my 15g, Cheato initially did great, then melted away after a couple of months, probably from lack of nutients. Well, my nitrates started to rise and someone recommended Ulva/Sea Lettuce.....so far so good, it seems much more resistent to nutient swings.
