What salt is this?

Hey guys,

Got this salt when I started the tank from the previous owner. Don't know the brand, nervous to use it.

I am guessing 5lb bags? Have 4 of them.

Thoughts?

Looks like the same bags that came with the box of Instant Ocean Reef Crystals that I have. I'd guess it's something by Instant Ocean.

If it is Instant Ocean, those should be ~14 pound bags, not 5. There's 4 bags in a 56 pound box.

Instant ocean or reef crystals.

No need to be worried.

Salt is salt. You can mix it then test and match the parameters to your tank before doing a water change.

Thank you very much everyone! I do think they are heavier than 5lbs each, because all of the bags together are alot more than 20lbs. Excited to use them and free up the space lol
