what salt mix

i see the thing i want to change the salt mix from reef crystals is because my corals have not grown much all this year and my lfs told me to change salt they told me to use aquaforrest reef salt

You've got great advice from members here. Stick with what your using. Changing salts won't magically start growing corals. I'd stay weary of any questions you ask that LFS.

ad will doo that ill make a 40 percent water change to pick up the levels

I wouldn’t do 40 at once, maybe 15, 3 days in a row? If your tank has drifted far from what the mix produces, 40% might be a large swing.
