What salt should I use for a fish only system?

For my reef tank, I use Red Sea Coral Pro salt. I feel that might go to waste being used in a fish only system. Would buying a basic salt mix to use for the fish only system be a better idea you think? And what are the good "basic" saltwater mixes on the market for a fish only system?

For fish only I would buy the cheapest salt possible.

Instant Ocean regular is used by lots of hobbyist, even for reef tanks (although modified a little sometimes). And it’s cheap.

I have always used reef crystals for mixed reef, but I recently switched to normal Instant ocean because of several threads where @Randy Holmes-Farley mentioned they add things that are not needed. So if it’s good enough for a reef I would assume it’s good enough for fish only.
