What kind of sealant do you guys use to seal the PVC to Bulkheads???
What sealant do you guys use for PVC??

regular pvc glue for slip fits
for threaded...silicone or pipe dope. dont use plumbers tape. yes it willwork, but pipe dope or silicone is much better. same thing goes for threaded pump volutes. that way you always get a perfect seal, and you dont have to stress the plastic of the volute or the bulkhead by having to thread a tapered pvc fitting in very far to get that perfect seal

yup I use purple cleaner and then clear glue. For threads I use pipe tape because its easy and I have never had one leak. though on my bulkhead I 90'd down and didnt use anything on those threads and its not leaking.
oh and I get pipe tape free thats why I use it
. Though if your going bigger than 3/4" I wouldnt recommend pipe tape because it wasnt designed for anything bigger.

purple cleaner, then the clear pipe dope in the red can. if threaded on the inside, tape, so as to be able to remove if needed. if slip, tape, so it can be removed if needed
