Hello.

I have a large 100gal container for RODI water. I want to limit the # of times to refill. Is there a good sensor to use to control the RODI on/off??

Meaning.. i dont want it to refill every time water level is under the float switch. I want the 100gal to get used up and refill once it's at the bottom.

Right now i just have a drilled plastic float switch and RODI would refill after every tank topoff

I think APEX has something similar but requires some coding. Wonder if theres any other simpler units?

Thanks

Smart Buddie Put it on a timer and it will also siphon off the first 30 seconds of flow. No TDS creep

It's not off the shelf, but you could consider something like this...

I am working on an auto top off based on these type of sensors for my frag tank. For some reason, my Tunze simply doesn't work well in that sump.

I have 2 55 gallon drums in the garage. 1 with salt water and the other with rodi water. Both fill with the same rodi unit. To keep the salt water at a Set salinity level the neptune turns on the water to fill the barrel and shuts off at a set point. When the brine barrel is filled a solenoid shuts off the rodi water and the Brin fill pump. Till I add salt and start it backup, this way I have auto top off to 2 marine tanks and 1 fresh. With a shared water source. Plus I have auto water changes, which is a God sent!
