I noticed when I originally got my Red Sea reefer 350 , upon delivery I noticed a chip in the back with the black wallpaper or whatever it’s called and I essentially said I’ll live with it but now it’s bothersome about 1 year later and curious if I could replace it somehow? Any idea how to go about this or just leave it alone. Any help would be appreciated. :) happy reefing everyone !

Idk bro. It would bother me too but Mayb add to the rock structure. Out of sight out of mind. The integrity isn’t compromised.
Yeah that’s what I usually do with the rock but just exposed it for the photo. I suppose I’ll just live with it or actually maybe toss a encrusting cyphas or lepto over it lol

What if you just cover it up with something black on the outside to block the light?

They do sell peel and stick vinyl but it’s a pain to put on.

Super late reply here, but you can just fill it with black paint. An adhesive won’t work unless you redo the entire back (which is possible). The adhesive cover won’t be flush everywhere and the air shows bright. Just dab some paint on there. If you ever redo the back, the paint will come off with a razor blade very easily.
