This Ricordea has been receding on one side a little more every day and loosing color in that area. The color difference is greater than it looks in the photo. Should I cut it in two, leave it, dip it in iodine, or something else?
Have you ever had this issue @Kristopher Conlin?

IMO the area circled is getting too much light or flow and is irritated. Cure the irritation and it'll rebound

It's in the same spot it has been in for months. Maybe I should move it to a calmer are away from everything else and see what happens.

Is there another coral nearby that's stinging it? Is that part of the ricordea not supported by rock or rubble underneath?

Yeah who knows I have certain coral that recede now and then but they always recover sometimes it is caused by a crab or shrimp that crawl over them.
