I have just got a strawberry conch and when I saw him in my local fish store he was very active. I also got a blue-legged hermit crab who was also very active and happy with his tank mates. I also got 4 snails. The hermit crab and conch when I added them to my tank didn't move at all I thought it might be stuck even though I had introduced them properly. So I waited for three hours but they still haven't moved. All there other tank mates are fine my corals are all open. Do you know what happened if so please explain!

Pick them up and have a look?
If I pick mine up I can see him “hide”.
Look dead?
Maybe they just like where you put them.

See where they are after your tank lights have gone off. It takes a bit of time for them to get situated.
After a night of the tank lights being off still hasn't moved. But the hermit crab has!

Would it help if I took a picture of my tank and where he is staying still?
