What should I do?

The tank today is clear as ever. All my
Water parameters are stable. Within an hr the tank got cloudy don’t know why....I had done a 30% water change right after so I’m wondering if the cloudy was because of salt mix and not being mixed well in the bucket. (First time that’s happened)

My FX6 I think saved the day, I crammed packed that to the gills with carbon and hit the on button. It’s kind of funny, a sump for the tank and a canister for the sump. Worked out well, with in a few hrs my tank had cleared up. No fish loss no loss at all.

One thing that would be helpful for posts like this (not meant to criticize - but just to help) - the amount of 'stuff' put in - would have been helpful in the first post - as well as the 'recommended dosage'. My guess is that you had no where near a toxic level of anything in your tank (based on what you said subsequently) - and sometimes adding a bunch of carbon suddenly - can cause more problems than it solves (for example - removing certain colors from the water which increases the intensity of the lights).

Please dont take this as a criticism - when I first read the OP - I thought you had like an entire bottle dropped int he tank - as compared to a very small amountL:). Glad it all worked out well:)

I didn’t know how much was added either. All I saw was a toddler vigorously squeezing bottles as some had managed to go into the sump. My reaction was oh crap I don’t know how much was added nor do I know what’s going to happen.

After I calmed down and actually looked at everything did I realize what actually was added and could guess based off of time and everything else. Needless to say I don’t have many chemical add ons since I don’t dose nor do I add any chemicals. My tank is literally run on just a uv, skimmer, and rocks with of course activated carbon and ammonia remover reactors. That’s about it.
