Having my house painted. My DT is currently running fallow. There are a bunch of snails, a few fighting conch, and a dozen hermit crabs. I need to empty about 20 gallons to move the tank. I was going to move it and then replace the water (using the same water I emptied). My thought was to cover the entire tank (75 gallon) with a fresh, clean drop cloth. The tank would still be running. It should take 4 days for them to complete painting. I will then need to empty 20 gallons, move the tank back, and replace with same water. I am super nervous about the entire thing as my fallow period is scheduled to conclude in two weeks. Anybody have thoughts on this? THANKS! My QT is in the basement so nothing to stress about with that.
