So I am well on my way to a staggering fish tank addiction. I have a 46g bowfront that has been set up for around 4 months. I have been through the tough beginner times which honestly, I took my time and had patience and the rough times haven't been too rough. Yet... Anywho, the first thing I got for my tank after everything was good was a few crabs and snails, the usual cuc. A few weeks later I got my first fish which were 2 black and white oscillaris clowns. They are perfectly happy and healthy. My next additions were 2 small zoa frags which also seem to be doing pretty good. I haven't noticed a lot of growth from them but then again they have only been in the tank for a few weeks. Then I got my awesome little lawnmower blenny. He has the most personality in the tank for sure. On the 4th of July I went out and bought a nice gsp frag that's thriving. I think I picked the perfect spot for it and it seems to be getting healthier every day. The same day (the 4th) I got a beautiful RBTA. I had some panicks at first with that thing because, as we all know, rbta have such different traits from tank to tank. My new rbta likes to expand out to the size of a baseball during the day and then maybe 2-3 hours before lights off it shrivels up under the rock it has its foot attached to but comes back out when the blue lights come on. Anyway, I'm making a trip to the LfS tomorrow to pick up some water and maybe some other supplies. In everyone's opinion, what should I get for my tank next? I was thinking maybe some cardinals. I'm sure I will pick up a 15 dollar frag while I'm there as well. The store i go to has so many options I can pretty much get anything I would want there. (For a beginner like myself at least) if I get a fish I don't want anything aggressive or anything that would cause trouble with my corals. Give me some ideas here people!

It's tough to tell people what fish to get, since you're the that has to live with the choice. For me, it's easy to pick a fish, if the fish has a semi-aggressive or aggressive demeanor, I'll pass. I like just about any passive type fish....the only exception to the rule is fairy wrasses, I love them all.

A nice wrasse is always fun to have...even a corris wrasse, or a small school of chromis...
I read so many different things about chromis fish. Some say they are great to a couple of them in tank and others say they kill each other off. I don't know what to believe about these fish.

I have read that some people keep them with no problems too. I had 5 of them and they were killed off by the alpha chromis fish. One was dead every few days. Finally I got 2 more when it was down to 1 fish. A week later and it killed the two new ones. A month after that it hid and died also and I never saw it again. That was well over a year ago. The other fish were all fine including a clown who was smaller then the chromis.
