My 55 G is a fish only tank. I can put hermit crabs and sand dwelling inverts in it, but what pufferfish should I also get? Vote below! And post suggestions for invertebrates!

Won't the puffers eat the inverts?!
So there’s a 50/50 to that. They will eat unprotected animals like crabs. I have been experimenting with a breeding mesh box so they don’t get hurt, the puffers have interest in crabs, not hermit crabs. They don’t see them from their shells. But nudibranchs are lame to them too.

And a 55gal isn't big enough for either type...I checked and LiveAquaria states 150-180 for either one. :(
The puffers I have are a green spotted, it will get under 5 inches big. And the puffers I always get are under 3 inches. When I get my own house and I’m the legal age, then I’ll be getting a 150 for them. But it takes a puffer years to grow huge.

How about you take the solid advice from other members on your previous threads and not add ANY livestock and slow down since your tank is no where near ready for any living animal.
It is. The ich is GONE. My water quality is gold, and I’ve been slowly killing the cloudy ness. I’ve been looking at the only 2 fish in the tank, no ich is seen on their transparent fins.

Sorry it's not what you want to hear but ick does not die in a week. I see no need to add fish to suffer the same fate as the puffer you were very upset about losing. We are just trying to help but if you're not going to listen then all I can say is good luck and @Leslie Tabor is right. That 55 is not big enough for a puffer.

One of the well know basics of Marine Ich is that it has multiple stages, it's not always visible by the naked eye. The parasite falls off into the substrate to continue it's life cycle and you will not always see spots on the fish. Basically because you can not see it does not mean it's not there.

Unless you closely followed the procedures found with in the thread below than the tank still has marine ich. You can use "reef safe" products but for the most part those are ineffective especially in an unstable tank that is already stressing the fish out. There really are no short cuts.

If it’s cloudy your water quality isn’t gold.

Seriously don’t add another living thing to that tank until you have a full grasp of what your issues are.

We’ve all been new to the hobby at some point and made a lot of mistakes ourselves but it’s time to pump the brakes on this and get it under control before adding any other living things.

Dear @DoggoThePuffer,
I took the time to look through your posts and am very concerned about the way you are keeping your fish:

Thank you so much! But I can’t do copper since I do have inverts and corals! (I have been studying for 1 month, the puffer has no interest in the corals. I also am using Ich-X and I’m broke, so I can’t do fancy things however, I think he got ick by me introducing a saddle puffer, cleaner wrasse, box puffer and a watchman goby. He got ich after I put them in. The wrasse and box puffer have sadly died. But my parents will pay ANYTHING to save my dogface’s life! He is like a dog to me! If I lose him, I would be done with my saltwater tank. He is my favorite fish in the wold!

Thank you! But I am slowly changing it. The water quality shave been stable with fish in the tank for 2 hours. And I also live in an area with no aquariums. I have nothingness in this area! 0-o

I don't know whether you are a troll, or just someone who keeps making mistakes despite the R2R community's recommendations, but your actions don't demonstrate a respect for the ocean or its inhabitants. Fishkeepers are entrusted with the lives of these fish that are collected from the reefs around the world. If you're truly a young kid starting out, go buy some mollies and learn more about the fishkeeping hobby before going out and buying expensive puffers and other wild-collected fish. Do not go and buy another puffer because it will surely suffer the same fate as your previous one. In the meantime, read all you can about how to properly set up an aquarium so that you don't waster yours or your parents' money, as well as the lives of these fish.

Sincerely,
SDReefer

Just to clarify, a green spotted puffer is a brackish water fish and should never be kept on a reef. Puffers don't take years to grow huge at all. You've already lost one, start over, do freshwater
