Looking at a jebao scp for my 120, mixed reef but sps heavy, for now anyways. I dont know what size to get the 70, 90, or 120? Anyone have any input? I have a wp60 now and on the lowest setting 2600gph it is crazy powerful in the tank for lps. Thanks in advance

I just installed 2 IceCap 4K gyre’s on my 300gal display yesterday & they are amazing. They move an impressive amount of water & are very quiet. One wireless controller (& app for your phone) will manage both pumps. For your build, I would use 2 of the IceCap 2k models. BRS has them for 20% off through the rest of August. The 2k/4K models are their second generation gyre (1k/3k came first). The app has an impressive amount of configuration options for the pumps.

For what it’s worth, there is a dispute regarding the patent on the cross flow tech created by Maxspect. IceCap licensed from them & created pumps at a lower price point that respects US patent rights. They are replacing the jebao wavemakers that I have been using in my system.

I have one Icecap 4k on my 75g and it's been awesome. I don't think I'll ever go back to regular powerheads again. The 4k is extremely powerful and really too much for my tank but i got it due to a possible upgraded tank size down the road. I just run it around 50% max. I just picked up an Icecap 2k to compliment it on the other side of the tank, but haven't installed it yet. Super quiet pumps... very nicely priced!

I recommend 2 x 120. I have a single 120 on my 90 and wish I could fit a second on the other side (overflow in the way). It is powerful On its own however, the nice smooth flow would be perfect for a softy tank. A second would create more flow and turbulence that sps seem to crave. I have an pp8 and a sdw 15 to compensate and stir things up in my mixed sps heavy 90.
