Hey guys complete noob at reefing here. I've been researching circulation pumps and have come across some conflicting and confusing data as to how much flow I should have. My tank is a 36 gallon bowfront. I'm going to be running a mag 9.5 as a return from my sump. I plan on keeping only softies such as xenia, green star polyps, zoas and such. For the circulation pumps I was thinking of going with 2 hydor korilia 550-600 GPH. Before I pulled the trigger I thought I would post here and make sure I'm buying the right size.

I think you will be fine going that route. If you get too much flow in an area you can always change how you have them pointed. Such as bouncing the flow off the front glass to spread it out.
