What size MH reflector to get?

For a 75g...What's a better MH reflector...

A big hexagonal like lumibrite mini that's 16"

Or

A bimini sun which is 10x11"

Or a big rectangular reflector~16"?

I'll hang 2 of these.

After adding MH I might add 2t5 retro in future, one in front, one back....

I know these are not the best in the industry, but with some good bulbs they do work great. I have a couple of these on multiple tanks and have had zero issues. You will need to buy different bulbs, the ones supplied are of zero value. I replace my bulbs with giesemann MH bulbs and ATI T-5 bulbs.

Yes I bought all of mine from this seller and like I said they have worked flawlessly. I've have been using them for 2+ years without issue. The ballast are electronic and do get warm but not hot.

If your trying to save a few bucks these are a good option.

Have you thought about going all T-5?? This is also a great option and I have another great tip on a fixture that will save you a ton of cash on those also.

I agree it's best to do your due diligence. I'm just letting you know that you have options and they don't need to be the most expensive ones. [emoji6]
