hey guys, what is the ideal size for reef aquarium?? i gonna buy a new tank [emoji2] thanks guys

For a first reef tank I have read multiple times a 75g is a good starter size. The bigger you go the more expensive the equipment will be...

The ideal tank size is THE LARGEST one you can AFFORD and MAINTAIN.

That being said, if funds are plentiful and you have the time, I always thought the 180 was ideal. You have the six foot length for a large selection of fish and the two foot width to do very nice rock-scaping.

Thats pretty much my dream tank, except a 500gal oval tank for shark/rays lol

depends on what you can spend...as a first timer, I wouldn't go lower than 50G's

a 75 is a great starter tank
