What size pump for bashsea 8-24 skimmer

others will hopefully chime in but you'll need a pretty strong pump for that skimmer.
i would try a jebao DCP 8000 DC pump so you can control the output. you could also run a danner mag 1800 but they may be noisier than the DC pump.
there are many others in that range but personally i would try a DC pump first because it's flow is adjustable.

I literally just picked up a danner 1800 today, I guess I'll find out how good it runs, I'll update you guys hopefully when I get it all setupothers will hopefully chime in but you'll need a pretty strong pump for that skimmer.
