Setting up my first QT tank. I have 3 available spare tanks I can use but what one would be best?
I plan on doing 3 groups of tangs , with the biggest group being 5 yellows. I’m also re-QTing my current fish, and have a 5 inch powder blue.

that being said, I have a 60x20x18 100 gallon tank, a Red Sea 425xl, and a 30 gallon hex. This will be a permanent QT tank in my fish room

Well, bigger is always better, so the quick answer would be the 100 gal. The hex is too small. If the Red Sea has some other inherent benefit for this use, then it isn’t much smaller than the 100....seems like a nice tank to use as a QT though.
What size is your DT?

My new tank that’s replacing the RedSea is a 340 gallon glass cages
