Hello everyone, trying to set up a tank for my wife for two clownfish what is the minimum size tank you think they would be happy in and not stress. We already have a stable 32 gallon but everytime we put a clownfish in it get attacked by a six line that we have so want to start a new tank just for clownfish

I would take out the six line instead, but if you really want to keep it a 20 gallon will work for just a clownfish pair

I would go no smaller than a 20 for a pair, if no other fish are in there. The bigger the better of course. I will not EVER have another 6 line!!! They may be one of the meanest, most aggressive fish I ever had.

+1 about the six line they are mean little guys

It turned mean overnight we have a couple other fish and they get along fine but as soon as it sees the clownfish it's on attack mode.

I would opt for getting it out because two nano tanks may be hard to run
