My stock skimmer went out and looking to upgrade it what skimmer do you run and how do you like it

bump still looking for imput i picked up a hydor slimskim nano skimmer and it doesnt fit.. what did you do to make yors fit in the skimmer section of your cardiff i know theres members on here with cardiffs and upgraded skimmers looking for input please
 
Nanoreefsytems has the best one I have ever used. Its pricey and sticks up kind of high in the back but it is well worth it.

I believe that the Tunze 9002 is the only other one that may possibly fit.

Nova what do u suggest then? Im really hating this hydor its loud and i had to put it in my 2nd chamber i want a skimmer to fit in my 1st chamber
 
The nanoreefsystems fits in the first chamber the cup just sticks up higher than the back of the tank. I just took my solana down yesterday or I would take a pic.
 
I have had the tunze and it did not do any better than the stock skimmer in fact they look and are designed almost identical.
