What skimmer?

Well I have ad 2 skimz now and they work well. But if you get one get one the es 5000 pump is the way to go.
But honestly. I would look at the atb 1050A, tHe sro 3000 series, and the aquamaxx am 250. I would let skimz get a track record here first.

Ive seen mojo's great work in action. That was such a cool thread. Anyway it was between the sro 3000int, and te skimz 161. I have been told by a lot of people to go with the skimz, however they don't have one so it's kina hard to go that rout with no backround. Is it easy to change the collection cup?
pretty easy. just an oring fit. here are some pics of a 2000 I had... and some of the bk's

the sro seal just like the atb elegance
the simz has a fit just like the warner marine/aquamaxx skimmers. even Euroreef had some like this... not a new design but its nice.
you can see the grooves in the neck.
now this is another skimmer I built but it shows just how the cup seal to the neck. Same setup....
