What Snail? How to keep alive?

I purchased live rock today to start cycling my new tank and I noticed this guy on the top of the rock when the water started to clear. Sorry it's still a bit murky. Can you tell what type of snail it is? Is there a way I can keep him alive? The tank is brand new so I don't have anything in it but 2 live rock and live sand. I just filled the tank with water today so I don't have algae or anything for it to really eat.

Try nori wapped or rubber banded to a rock. or algae wafers

He does look like one of those. Thanks! I'm still a beginner to these. Their care guide says they're sensitive to nitrites. Should I put him in his own container with food for a bit until the tank cycles? It says they're pretty sensitive so I'm surprised he's alive now. I wasn't very careful with dumping brand new water in since no animal was supposed to be in there. I don't think he's happy since he's climbing as high as he can get.

Here's the same snail a few days later after the water cleared up. He's still alive!
