What softie coral will win in a fight?

I have a small nano, with limited space for isolated rocks in which to put fast growing corals. I recently saw a Zoa combo rock for sale that looked pretty cool, so I was thinking that rather than add several small rocks, I might put one larger rock in with several different Zoas on the one rock.

If I just put Zoas on the rock then I guess that wouldn't be an issue, but what if I put a bit of star polyp on there as well? Would the star polyp over-run the Zoas or would they stand their ground?

There are so many zoas and they can act differently. Regardless, in my experience, GSP can overgrow many things

Agreed.

GSP seems to sting/irritate most things it touches.

Watch out.... Gsp been known to lurk under one's bed at night

Keep them separate and you should be okay. I have some with a bunch of daisy polyps and I have to break the rock soon. Just not happy with the daisies growth near the gsp.
