I have a Nuvo 30 gallon long that currently has two Red Sea Reef LED 50s for lighting. They are great lights but i’m adding an Apex to the tank so none of my Red Sea products will be compatible. The other downside to this setup is the weird dimensions of the tank tank (35”L x 10”W x 13”H) so LED lighting is really hard to disperse evenly. Plus the Reef LEDs only have one kind of mounting arm so raising them isn’t an option. I was considering the 36” JBJ Trinity T5HO (4x39W) to get more even coverage. My question is, will this be too much or too little for my tank? I’d like to continue having acros and other sps and lps corals. With the tank being so shallow the mounting height is questionable using the supplied legs and I can’t mount to the ceiling because of where the tank is. I’ll attach some pictures of exactly what I was planning on doing. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!
