What tank choices for 24" x 24" ?

I was cleaning my Biocube 29g today and a 6" long scratch developed on the curved front glass. I can feel it with my nail...Pretty upset.
I overbuilt the stand and it measures 24 x 24. I'd like to replace the tank at this point. The stand is ready for a sump, however I'd like an INTERNAL overflow so I can maintain it against the wall. Also would like rimless.

Are there any pre-made tanks in 24 x 24 that I should consider that are rimless and have an internal overflow, or are a standard size that I can buy an internal overflow box that would look good?

Marineland has a 45 gal that is 24 x 24 x 18. Several mfg's build 60 gal 24 x 24 x 24 including marineland and deep blue.

60 is the standard 24 cube, but many people make shorter versions maintaining the 24x24 footprint for 40-50 gallon variants. Checkout SCA aquariums, their 20" tall 50 gallon is popular.

Nice I like that a lot and the price looks reasonable. Now to find a sump that will fit through a 17" hole!

60 cube will be awesome. I have a 90 cube with a similar stand and love it.

If you can't find one, you might be surprised how affordable a custom sump is. I ordered a custom ATO container and it was very reasonable.

I used to have the SCA 50g tank...great tanks. I currently have their 66g tanks and a custom 45g lagoon.

Do you think my stand would hold up 50 60g?

It's 3/4" oak plywood that is glued together and has pocket screws as well? It's pretty heavy and feels solid, but jumping up from 29g to 60g I would want to be sure...

I might go with the 50 cube only as then my XR15w G4 Pro should be enough for it. Pushing to 24" might add in more costs

Your stand should be fine even with the back cut out . I have a Marineland 60gal. Rimless Reef cube w/built in overflow. 24"×24"×24" with a stand 24"×24"×32"high w/back bottom cut-out 26"high x24"wide from the bottom. I have a Eshopps RS100 plumbed into above tank at approx. 30° angle from front to rear , however the rear corner of sump extends 3 1/2" past( the cabinet so it must be at least that amount away from the back wall. Mine is against two walls at a 45° angle completely against walls. Fits like a.glove. I love it , however the leftover storage space in cabinet is very limited. Hope this helps you out ?

I have a Marine Land 45G, 24"x 24"x 18"... It's just been up a few weeks but I like the tank. Drilled it for an Eshopps small overflow and return. Skimz UP22 Sumpro Sump just fit's in the Marine Land Stand (not sure how it's internal dimension compare to the one you built)
