Hello. I'm new to the forum and I am starting a new build. I've done several reef tanks in the past. I learned the do's and dont's. I gave it it all up for several years until I found a permanent place to built a tank. The time has come to build a tank. I'm not sure what's the latest and greatest in equipment and lighting.
I'm looking to purchase a large peninsula tank. Approximately 200 gallons.
Seems like the options for me are the red sea reefer 650 or the waterbox 7226.
I like the idea of ordering the waterbox7226 pluse. How are the lights it comes with?
I'm not sure if I want to order the tank with the lighting system it comes with or build my own custom canopy or light bar or pendant mount lighting. I like the idea of ordering it and everything showing up at once in the same box. But I'm not opposed to ordering my lighting from a third party.
The tank is going to be a community reef tank. I dont ever want lighting to be an issue with my corals or clams.
I'm really leaning towards the waterbox system....I just dont want to be disappointed in lack of quality on something. I have not seen either one in person.
Any opinions on these new tanks and lighting would be appreciated.
