What tank temperatures do we keep our systems at?

A posting was placed tonight focusing on tank temperatures. There was a varied range. That comes to a good question.... What is our preferred range and why.

78-80 - I run closer to 80. Based on some research I would probably run my tank closer to 82-84. But since I don't have a skimmer or controller, I'm not comfortable running it that high.

I would like to keep mine around 79 but without a chiller mine sits around 81. I've thought about getting one but it's a smaller aquarium and probably not worth the cost given everything seems happy.

I would love 75, but using a chiller 78, till fall.

76. no chiller. House stays at 72 to 74 year round.
