You’re better off getting a 40/50/60 gallon breeder, drilling it to use a diy sump, and spending $ on decent lights. T5’s and/or led’s will grow anything-start off with softies/lps and then add more lights as you advance.
It’s more about the inhabitants I think, if it’s high bióload I would steer away from Fluval. If it’s medium to low there good tanks. Remember higher bioload equals more maintenance and those chambers and media are not as easy to clean and deal with then a sump can be. Just my opinion mind you.remember there’s no extra water volume you can add with aio unless you spend more money and make big moves. Thanks Tampasmitty
That’s what I’m leaning too.
Fluval tank and a stand is like $1000 Canadian. Here at my lps
Or I could get a non curved tank stand, and glass top for $600.
I have pumps already that I could setup better then that fluval stock
Even if my light choice is wrong I could change or add.
Or is this fluval all in one a good idea
