So I'm in the process of picking out my tank. I wanted a 90 but may be OK with a 75. But then again I've always wanted a rimless. So what tank, with a budget in mind, would you go with? Brand? Budget being for tank and stand is like to keep it under $800. Thinking about used too.

In the 75-90 gallon 'rimless' range, you might have to look for a used tank w/ sump. Otherwise, a quality nano would be in your price range.

Thanks. I'm willing to budge on budget but not going to budge on size. I know myself. If I go nano, I'll be upgrading in less than a year.

If you like black rims on your tank, the $1 gallon sale is your best bet. Little elbow grease is required as well.

You can find large starfire tanks with pre-drilled center flows. You would just need to invest in a sump. I saw a 112 gallon starfire for just under $800.

Check Planet Aquariums. I used to have a 75g rimless. Great looking tank and never had an issue with it.

Check Craig's List and your local reef club forum. There are always used tanks for sale. I got my 120 with stand and canopy for $300.
