@Jay Hemdal
This is from a fresh fecal sample from a Regal Angel in quarantine. Any idea what it is? Fish is not eating very well so it’s hard to get meds in it. Magnification at 200x

May be an intestinal worm. You can treat fish with general cure which contains Metroplex and should be effective with the fish and any internal parasites in the feces and stomach lining

Which is why I often tell many, even when the fish is quarantined at a facility, it goes through stress from transport, acclimation, etc and assume it has something a do a mini quarantine 14-21 days as a method of insurance on fish's health

I see two eyespots. Could be a turbellarian worm. Some of those are not parasitic. Did these feces rest on the tank bottom before you collected them? It could just be a free living worm.

I had just put it in a melafix bath for its other issues so it was a clean 5 gallon tank. Fish went almost immediately and I sucked it out with a pipette but it was on the bottom of tank for a few seconds.

O.K., I don’t know of any turbellarians that infect fish digestive systems, but the group is large, so there may well be some that do. Praziquantel is often suggested to treat external turbellarians, but I’m not sure that is effective.
