WHAT THE FLIP IS GROWING ON MY ROCK??

Everyday I look at my tank and I always notice something new. Just noticed this fuzzy stuff growing on only one of my rocks. Kind of looks like little tubes maybe sponges? Lmk if u guys know what it is. If its good or bad? Should i leave it alone or remove it?

Ive been seeing alot of different sponges pop up in my tank recently is that just because its a new tank? I dip everything that goes in.

Yep, you'll also see them largely under rocks and overahangs as they prefer shade.

They do look kind of fuzzy can u post a pic of the hydroids your talking about so i can see if its that.

Hydroids look sim to small featherdusters. Those aren't hydroids. They're sponges.
