Last shippment took 2 day when it was a over night
This new shippment had a 9:30 am and I'm picking up at FedEx.
It's almost 11am and no package yet !!!
Called and it's on the way
FedEx - why offer a 9:30 if you can deliver by then!!!

Oh wait, that doesn't sound right. I think it's because of the cold weather. It slows down their trucks.

Its all BS,,heard it all over the years,,you pay for a premium service and get BS..
Just think,,I just paid 2nd day air rates for a package that I ordered last friday 2/2/18 that was in stock and I still have not recieved it yet...2 states away..

My fish order from LA was delayed by an hour due to weather this week. Everything was fine, LA packed it nice and warm (UPS)

Seriously though, It's probably been there all day but they just haven't gotten around to walking out to the truck to unload it yet.

Have you all seen the open to Ace Ventura Pet Detective? Just assume that this is what is going on and be happy when stuff works on time.

I had a driver once toss a LA box in the air and catch it after a few rotations... all while I was standing on the porch and did not see me. When he put it down, the "up" arrow was pointing sideways. I think that "fragile" and "this side up" are just invitations for them to have fun... same with "by 9:30."

FedEx has sucked lately. I have ordered two boxes from Battlecorals this last month and both were delayed for two days. Adam sent me a replacement this past Monday for the corals and we had to say a prayer they would make it. The replacements were suppose to be delivered by 10:30 and they didn’t show up until 2.

I feel your pain!

I have had 2 orders that were UPS delayed by one and 2 days. Needless to say my corals didn't make it as it was cold as heck out. Good thing you were only delayed a couple hours, and hopefully your new babies are ok. It just sucks this time of year with the weather and such.

I hear these war stories all the time, I guess San Antonio has awesome UPS and Fedex workers? My drivers here at my office and at my home are awesome also.

So sorry nashorn...I work for Fedex as a courier (21 years) and I have never seen so many days where we have late freight. The word is always weather delays back east...Not sure what's going on, but I'm sure we've had bad weather before back east??? The last couple of years have been the worst for receiving late freight. I know it's upsetting ...( I received a late package a few weeks ago, 1st time ever)Try not to be upset with the drivers as we have no control, :-(

That can be soooo frustrating. I actually had the opposite happen to me not too long ago. My package ( a phone replacement, not a livestock but still....i needed it asap) was sitting at the FedEx location less than 10 minutes from my house. it wasnt supposed to be delivered until Thursday, and they refused to let me pick up wed morning. Grrrrrr.....

Just purchased a bunch of acros fed ex doesn't even knock when they came as usual and left them on my porch where it was 15degrees outside.... thankfully my wife was paying attention and saw the guy pull away...

More places should ship airport to airport. It's so much better for live cargo. Never gets on a truck, if it gets stuck somewhere it's in a heated building not on a trailer. I just got some inverts and fish from probably the furthest fish store in Canada from me (3750km door to door) they were in transit less then 12hrs.

I sent a good amount of corals, overnight service from Ma to Az a few weeks ago. They hit weather in TN, and got halted for 2 days. The package was a total loss. Not blaming fedex on the weather, but I probably wont be shipping coral anymore.

FedEx is not what it used to be!
And they simply don’t care anymore....
They delayed an overnight package I sent by 3 days!
Sent out Tuesday, got there on Friday!
They tried to blame me by saying i affixed the label incorrectly, when they were the ones who put the label in the plastic bag...
Unbelievable!
Luckily, it was a bunch of zoas and shrooms, so they all survived

It's not worth it anymore. You never get reimburse for any shipping. The people who ship can, even though you paid for it.I lost a 75 dollar coral from second day arrival.plus 40$ shipping.I was told, I'd need to place another order so they can take care of me. That means another 40$coral charge minimum and another 40$ shipping charge.Just to replace a 75$ dollar coral. All totaled It will cost me 195$for the one coral frag I wanted
